Death Penalty

To start off in a slight humorous mood, the following definition is taken from the website Pro Death Penalty. com :
ac·tor·vist

Proununciation (ak-ter-vist) n.
A theatrical proponent of activism, who relies heavily on their popularity as a performer to attempt to advance their own personal political agenda

But when you think about it, its easy to see that celebrities are doing just that. And like sheeps, 75% of the American population follows what these overpaid morons have to say.

I am really getting irratated at all of the anti-death penalty "activists" that come out of the woodwork when some Hollywood makes some death row inmate the cause celebre of the month.
Case in point, the past 30 days, Hollywood celebs, most notably Mike Farrell, Ed Asner, Jamie Fox, and rapper(and former Crip member) Calvin Broadus(aka Snoop Dog) have come to the aid of Stanley "Tookie" Williams. Yeah. Snoop Doggy Crap holds alot of influence with me. Big freakin' deal that some *former* gangbanger and co-founder of the most violent street gang in American history wrote a few books that got him some attention. Obviously, some liberal PR firm got their monies worth by exploiting Stanley Williams. Oh yeah. I forgot about his 5 nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize. Wow. Thats an outstanding achievment. Yasser Arafat(one of the biggest terrorists next to UBL and Saddam Hussein) was nominated and actually won the Nobel Peace Prize. The nomination committee must have had some slim pickings that year. Yeah. I know Adolf Hitler was nominated also. Hm...Maybe I will get my old English professor to write a suck-up letter to some idiot on the nomination committe. That would be a cool bullet on my resume.

Why haven't these Hollywood activists come to the aid of lets say, Clarence Allen or Arthur Rutherford, or Jaime Elizade JR? Oh, thats right. I forgot. The supposed staunch anti-death penalty activists would not benefit from these "no namer" prisoners. What have these prisoners done to warrant the time of Hollywood? I just find it very superficial that these old and washed up actors like Farrel, Asner, and [Susan] Sarandon would use a cause like capital punishment just to get there face on some national news program. If they are so adamant about capital punishment, they would be fighting againts the DP in all states, not just California.

I am not going to go into detail about how this alleged peace loving man behaved in prison. Anybody with half a brain can google it and see all the files where it documents his physical assaults on prison officials/guards, other prisoners, female visitors, as well as transcripts of interviews where he admits he could have anybody killed/whacked or whatever slang term you wish to use. Yeah. He is definately a changed man who turned his back on the gang lifestyle. And you want him to be a role model for your kids? I pity you.

"Tookie" says he has changed, but I find that hard to believe. If he is sincere about his so-called "redemption", it would stand to reason that he would want to distance himself from from anything that may remind himself from his former life. I would start by getting rid of the street name of "Tookie". Why does he still want to be called by that, if he is no longer associated with the Crips? Secondly, I would not entertain visits from current or past members of Crips. But, hey..thats just me.

After Stanley is buried and nothing but skid mark on American history, who will be next in Hollywood's protest? Scott Peterson -- The man everybody came to hate when he brutally murdered his wife and unborn child? I am sure there will be some dimwitted women who will march in protest of his impending execution. Hell, he is already receiving love letters and he has only been on death row for a few months. What in the hell are these women thinking?

Or will it be Wesley Cook(aka Mumia Abu-Jamal) ? The former militant and violent member of the racist organization "The Black Panthers" ? Yeah. He is another poster child for Hollywood and their anti-DP movement. That's right. He is a convicted cop-killer. Just the guy I want "to go to bat for!"

In closing, I personally think "Tookie" is full of shit. He hasn't changed. He is still the violent criminal he was 25 years ago. In just a couple of hours, Tookie will be nothing but a memory as his corpse lies rotting in some paupers cemetary.

Goodbye. Good Riddance. Rot in hell.
